Final -ed/-es Variations
Tue. / 3:00-4:00pm / COB 205
How we pronounce -ed, -s, and -es at the ends of words in English depends on the sound that comes before. In this workshop, we'll review four easy rules to help you predict the final sound for both -es and -ed endings; then, we'll practice predicting and making these sounds in words and dialogs as native speakers would. You'll even know why "speakers" sounds like "speakerz!"
This workshop is especially for non-native speakers of English who would like to improve their pronunciation. All campus members and family members are welcome.
