Common Errors to Avoid
Wed / 11:30am-12:45pm / COB 276
Do you see two errors in the photo above? This workshop provides an overview of the most frequent grammar errors that non-native speakers and native speakers make in written English in college – and how to avoid them. Whatever your first language, it will be useful for you to examine your own writing for these common mistakes. Don't be surprised if you find yourself saying, "Oh, wow. I do that a lot! I didn't know it was wrong!"
This workshop is part of a weekly series for campus sponsored by the English Language Institute (ELI), part of the Center for Engaged Teaching & Learning. For more info, email Belinda Braunstein at firstname.lastname@example.org.
