Teaching as Research

One way to prepare research-ready students is to approach teaching as a form of research and make that approach explicit in the classroom or laboratory. This can mean using one's own research as a model and/or approaching the classroom as a subject for research. This workshop will introduce participants to the various ways one might interpret the phrase and then ask them to consider how they might approach teaching as research.
